CHICAGO (July 26, 2021) —Association Forum’s flagship publication, FORUM Magazine, is now digital. The transformation took place in June 2021. In the past, Association Forum printed the magazine and posted that content online. Now, the association will no longer send members a print copy, save the special edition printed prior to Holiday Showcase each year.
“After a year of so much digital work, we wanted to bring the magazine up to speed,” says Michelle Mason, Association Forum president and CEO. “This shift is in line with Association Forum’s digital transformation, and it will allow us to publish content in a much timelier manner.”
Instead of printing four issues on an annual basis, FORUM magazine will publish online weekly as well as print one issue a year. The association’s Content Working Group spearheaded the effort to convert their content calendar from print to digital media. The group is responsible for planning, contributing, and soliciting contributions throughout the year.
FORUM Magazine’s content will remain focused on hot topics affecting the association community. The increased frequency of publication will provide a steady stream of information to Association Forum members.
Topic areas include leadership, technology, member engagement, events, Welcoming Environment®, industry & culture, and business development. Content once featured in the magazine’s “In The Know” section has moved to “Forum News.” Association Forum is still committed to celebrating the accomplishments of its members by promoting job changes, awards, and industry achievements.
Each month features a theme, much like the print magazine did. June’s theme was Welcoming Environment®, July is The Future of Work, and August is Leadership.
