Association Forum Announces Call for Nominations for Board of Directors

CHICAGO (October 7, 2022) — Association Forum is pleased to announce that the call for nominations for members of the Board of Directors is open. There is one officer position (Secretary-Treasurer), two association professional director positions, and one supporting member director position available for the 2023-2025 Board of Directors.
Association Forum strives to have a board that is inclusive of individuals with diverse work, life, social and educational backgrounds so that it can make well-rounded decisions that reflect the entire membership. Association Forum seeks true diversity in terms of age, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, industry, location, and work roles in its board.
All Association Professional Members and Supporting Members (the new membership category which now includes all previous Supplier Partner and Consultant members) are eligible to apply to serve on the Association Forum Board of Directors.
“We are thrilled to open the Call for Nominations to welcome new leaders to our board,” says Artesha Moore, FASAE, CAE, president and CEO of Association Forum. “With the recent changes to Association Forum’s bylaws to create the new supporting member category as well as our focus on engaging leaders from all career levels, we are hoping to recruit Board members that are more representative of the Forum’s member community. This year, we are encouraging innovative, thought-provoking change agents to consider applying to serve on the Board of Directors and use their talents to help shape the future of the organization and the association management profession, overall.”
