Association Professionals Reflect on Black History Month
Last year, we interviewed four Black association professionals who served as the first Black person in their respective roles. Artesha Moore, FASAE, CAE, conducted these interviews during her first month in her role as president & CEO of Association Forum. While Moore is not Association Forum’s first Black CEO, she knows the distinction well, having spent her career breaking down barriers and paving the way for Black women in the association space.
We want to revisit these interviews to remind the association community of the stories and triumphs that lie within our industry. We hope you are inspired by these Black leaders and also take the opportunity to reflect on what Black History Month means to you.Â

Thank you to the associations leaders featured in these videos.
