Stepping into the Women’s Executive Forum™ for the first time, one attendee found herself immediately immersed in an atmosphere of energy, empowerment, and purpose. From the moment the playlist set the tone to the closing reflections, Women’s Executive Forum 2025 – Unstoppable proved to be more than just a conference—it was a catalyst for connection, leadership growth, and strategic insight. In this Q&A, she shares her experience, the moments that inspired her most, and the key takeaways that will shape her leadership journey moving forward.

What/Who inspired you and why?

The energy radiated from the moment I walked in, hearing the powerful playlist – I felt inspired throughout the day. In particular, I felt motivated by the 2025 Woman of Influence™, Cie Armstead, DBA, and her keynote presentation. Her “owslervations” gave me ideas to apply to my own association work. Hearing her journey and how she approaches leadership within the association industry was inspiring.

Did you make new connections with other women in the industry?

The entire day was formatted in a way where we were encouraged to cultivate new connections. At the morning session, I sat at a table with women from different industries and backgrounds. I loved hearing everyone respond to what “women supporting women in the workforce” meant to them – each answer was different but had many overlapping similarities. I also reconnected with colleagues from previous associations where I worked.

What were your key takeaways from Women’s Executive Forum?

My biggest takeaways were within the sessions and the conversations I had with fellow attendees. This was an incredibly valuable event as each session empowered me to think in new ways about data-driven insights, leadership, and new ways to utilize team strengths.

Is there anything you will do/think about differently after Women’s Executive Forum? If so, what?

The Women’s Executive Forum was extremely helpful in shaping how I approach leadership. It encouraged me to think critically about new ways I can empower and communicate with my team and clients.

What was your favorite session and why?

My favorite session was “Data-Driven Decision Making for Women Executives.” We analyzed a data set during our group exercise and made strategic decisions based on our findings. As a marketing director, reviewing analytics and offering insights are key parts of my position, so it was insightful to hear perspectives from others in different roles. This gave me tangible solutions for my team and added value I can offer clients.
